British player Dan Evans, currently ranked number five in the UK, became emotional during a pre-Wimbledon press conference, admitting that a challenging year of results has left him feeling he may be “letting people down.”
Despite recent successes on grass courts, Evans faces fellow Briton Jay Clarke in the first round at SW19 on Tuesday.
