Drake’s Manchester concert scheduled for Monday has been cancelled due to “travel logistics,” according to an announcement from the Co-op Live arena.

The Canadian rapper’s performance at the venue has been rescheduled for August 5th, with organizers stating that “all tickets remain valid for the new date.”

Drake had already performed two shows in Manchester on Friday and Saturday as part of his global tour and is still scheduled to perform at the Co-op Live on August 4th.

A statement posted on the arena’s website cited “unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics” as the reason for the postponement of the July 28th performance.

The statement added, “The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5th, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night.”

However, numerous ticket holders for Monday’s show have expressed their disappointment, with some calling the last-minute cancellation a “joke.”

One fan wrote, “Extended my unpaid leave in Dubai to stay in Manchester so I could see Drake on 28th July just for him to cancel last minute.”

Another fan expressed feeling that “lame excuse of travel logistics”.

Drake, one of the world’s most-streamed artists, released his new single, “Which One,” with UK rapper Central Cee last Thursday. The release coincided with an episode of his Iceman stream, which was filmed in locations around Manchester, including Piccadilly railway station and Victoria Baths.

He has been performing across the UK this summer as part of his first European tour in six years.
