Curry Twins Extend Contracts with Sale Sharks

England flankers Ben and Tom Curry have agreed new “long-term” contracts with Sale Sharks.

The 26-year-old twins both made their Premiership debuts for Sale Sharks in 2016.

Ben, who was named club captain after the previous campaign, has earned 11 England caps, while Tom has represented his country on 62 occasions and played for the British and Irish Lions.

“I’m delighted because retaining Ben and Tom was a priority—they are exceptional, vital to our squad and we are fortunate to have them,” said director of rugby Alex Sanderson in an interview with the club’s website., external

“They are almost superhuman—I am continually amazed by their capabilities.

“Their leadership sets a standard, they always prioritise the team, persevere through adversity, and consistently raise the level of everyone around them.”

The specific duration of the new contracts has not been made public by the club.
