Ronaldo, 40, Nets Spectacular Overhead Kick
Cristiano Ronaldo defied age with a remarkable overhead kick during Al-Nassr’s commanding 4-1 victory over Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League.
The veteran forward, aged 40, elevated himself amidst a crowded penalty area to meet Nawaf Boushal’s cross from the right flank in the sixth minute of added time at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh.
The goal marked Ronaldo’s 954th career strike, evoking memories of his iconic bicycle kick for Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final against Juventus back in 2018.
Notably, the Portugal captain also executed a similar overhead kick against Poland in the Nations League in November 2024.
This win propels Al-Nassr to a four-point lead at the summit of the league table.
Despite his individual brilliance, Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or recipient, is still seeking his first trophy since his move to Saudi Arabia in 2023.
