American singer Chris Brown has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, the Metropolitan Police announced.
The charge stems from an alleged assault at a London nightclub on February 19, 2023.
The 36-year-old artist was apprehended at a Manchester hotel early Thursday morning.
He remains in custody and is scheduled for a hearing at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Brown, currently on tour, has several UK performances planned for June and July.
