Television personalities Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have announced their separation.
Deeley, 48, currently a presenter on ITV’s *This Morning*, and Kielty, 54, who hosts BBC Radio 5 Live programmes and RTÉ’s *The Late Late Show*, share two children.
In a joint statement released on Monday, the couple stated: “We have made the decision to separate. There is no third party involved.”
The statement continued: “We will continue to be united as devoted parents to our children. We kindly request that our family’s privacy be respected during this time. No further comment will be provided.”
The pair were married in a ceremony held in Rome in September 2012.
Deeley began co-presenting *This Morning* with Ben Shephard last year.
She initially achieved prominence on children’s programmes such as *SM:TV* and *CD:UK*, later establishing herself as a leading figure in the United States as the host of the prime-time talent show *So You Think You Can Dance*.
Deeley also co-presented the BBC singing competition *Fame Academy* and subsequently hosted ITV’s *Stars In Their Eyes*.
Kielty, a Northern Irish presenter and comedian, succeeded Ryan Tubridy as the host of *The Late Late Show* in 2023.
He has presented several documentaries concerning The Troubles, including the BBC programme *My Dad, The Peace Deal And Me*, which explored the circumstances surrounding his father’s death at the hands of paramilitary gunmen.
