Britain’s Got Talent Dream Realized

Harry Moulding, a magician from Blackpool, has achieved a lifelong ambition by winning Britain’s Got Talent. His final performance, a daring card trick incorporating a skydive, secured the public vote on Saturday.

The 24-year-old, who confessed to a fear of heights, described the skydive as the “craziest” element he could devise for his act.

Moulding expressed his excitement about performing at the Royal Variety Performance for King Charles, a fellow member of the Magic Circle, hoping to collaborate on a magical performance at the Royal Albert Hall in November.

Winning the £250,000 prize is “surreal and life-changing,” he stated, referring to Blackpool as “an entertainment capital.”

In an interview with BBC Radio Lancashire, he described the post-victory period as a “whirlwind” since the Hammersmith Apollo win.

Moulding emphasized his lack of expectation, focusing solely on delivering his best performance. He expressed immense gratitude for the public’s support, calling the win a “dream come true.”

His semi-final performance, culminating in a surprise proposal, earned him the golden buzzer from guest judge KSI, securing his place in the final. Beyond the competition, Moulding anticipates celebrating the wedding of the newly engaged couple, having received an invitation.
