The Beckham family has made its first public appearance together following a recent Instagram post by Brooklyn Beckham, which seemingly confirmed reports of a family rift.
Just last week, Brooklyn Beckham issued a statement suggesting an unwillingness to reconcile with his family, alleging that his parents had disparaged him and his wife through media outlets.
On Monday, David and Victoria Beckham were accompanied by three of their four children – Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris.
The family’s appearance coincided with Victoria Beckham’s receipt of a prestigious new honor: Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters.
Following the ceremony, Victoria Beckham shared on Instagram: “I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.”
“I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art.”

The distinction is conferred by the French Ministry of Culture, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts and literature.
Past recipients include prominent figures such as actresses Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez, director Denis Villeneuve, and actor Jude Law.
While this marks the first Beckham family appearance since Brooklyn’s Instagram statement, individual members have been spotted at various events recently.
Victoria Beckham recently attended Emma Bunton’s 50th birthday celebration, and David Beckham participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos last week.
Meanwhile, Romeo Beckham was seen at US designer Willy Chavarria’s show in Paris, and Cruz Beckham announced an upcoming mini-tour with his band across the UK and Europe.
In his Instagram post, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham stated his disinclination to “reconcile” with his family, further accusing his parents of “attacking” him and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, through the press.
Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest of the Beckham children, has alleged his parents attempted to “endlessly ruin” his relationship, and accused his mother Victoria of hijacking their first wedding dance.
The Beckhams have not formally addressed these allegations. However, during his appearance in Davos on Tuesday, David Beckham made a general comment about social media, stating that children are “allowed to make mistakes”.
The groom has said his mother Victoria “danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone”.
