Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi today received newly appointed ambassadors to six countries, including Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the president noted significant progress in bilateral relations following his recent visit to Azerbaijan.
President Raisi urged the ambassadors to provide comprehensive support to Iranian companies in their assigned countries and actively identify opportunities for their engagement.
The meeting included ambassadors designated for Azerbaijan, China, Côte d’Ivoire, Mexico, Cuba, and Uruguay.
Mojtaba Demircilu has been appointed as the new Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan.
